TSC President Receives Credentials of Azerbaijani Ambassador

President of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received at the Republican Palace the credentials of Dr. Elkhan Polukhov as Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Sudan, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem.
Al-Burhan welcomed the new ambassador, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and advancing them toward greater development and prosperity.
For his part, the Azerbaijani ambassador affirmed the depth of the fraternal and historic ties between the two countries, stressing Azerbaijan’s support for Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and wishing the Sudanese people lasting peace and prosperity.
