Prime Minister Commends National Media’s Role in “Battle of Dignity”

Prime Minister Kamil Idris commended the role of Sudanese national media in the “Battle of Dignity,” praising its contribution alongside the Sudanese Armed Forces and supporting forces, and calling for a unified media discourse and stronger support for state institutions.
Addressing the Sudanese Media Forum in Khartoum, Idris said the forum sends a message to the world that Sudan remains present and that its voice is being heard, stressing the government’s commitment to considering its recommendations and contributions.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a just and comprehensive peace and to its ongoing diplomatic and political efforts, including the peace initiative submitted by Sudan to the UN Security Council.
Idris also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to an inclusive Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue, as well as efforts to combat corruption, smuggling, and drugs, reform the civil service, improve the economy, and advance reconstruction efforts.
