Agar Reaffirms Sudan’s Appreciation for Turkey’s Support

Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Malik Agar, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Sudan, Fatih Yildiz, at his office.
Agar expressed Sudan’s deep appreciation for Turkey’s pivotal role in promoting peace and stability in the country, emphasizing Khartoum’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and broadening cooperation across all sectors to serve the mutual interests of both nations. Ambassador Yildiz reaffirmed Turkey’s readiness to support Sudan in safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity, ensuring independence and non-interference in internal affairs. He briefed Agar on ongoing efforts to expand Sudan-Turkey relations to wider horizons.
The ambassador also highlighted Turkey’s recent humanitarian assistance, noting that four aid shipments were delivered to Sudan last month, and confirmed Turkey’s commitment to continue this support.
