No Coexistence with Rebels

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on Friday conducted an inspection visit to the village of Shukeiri, where he reviewed the site that was recently targeted by a drone attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Dagalo family, militia.
TSC President was accompanied, during the tour, by the Director of the Military Intelligence Authority, Mohamed Ali Ahmed Sabir, who joined him in assessing the scale of the damage and the aftermath of the attack on the ground. During the visit, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan offered condolences to the families of those killed in the incident, which left several civilians dead and injured. He paid tribute to the martyrs who fell in the “Battle of Dignity and Pride” and commended residents of the area for their national stance and resilience in confronting the rebel militia.
Al-Burhan strongly condemned the crimes and violations committed by the rebel forces against unarmed civilians across the country, saying such acts were “devoid of humanity.” He reiterated the armed forces’ firm position toward the rebels, declaring: “There can be no coexistence with these rebels. We will neither accept them nor welcome their presence among us. Any party that bears arms or supports the rebellion under any name will not find us extending our hand to it.”
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces further renewed the armed forces’ pledge to the victims, affirming that military operations would continue until achieving a decisive victory, eliminating the rebellion, and restoring security and stability across the country. He also stressed that the blood of the victims “will not be shed in vain” and that justice would ultimately prevail. Meanwhile, Al-Burhan underscored the state’s commitment to supporting Shukeiri and providing all necessary services to local residents. For their part, villagers expressed appreciation for the visit, affirming their support for the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity and their determination to remain steadfast in the face of ongoing challenges.
