Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected the Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company on Tuesday. He reviewed the company’s efforts to ensure stable electricity supply for citizens. He was received by Engineer Montasir Abdelrahman Al-Sheikh, the company’s General Manager, who briefed the TSC President on the company’s initiatives to stabilize electricity supply, outlining current operations and potential sectoral progress.
Al-Burhan commended the company’s staff for their efforts in maintaining stable electricity despite the country’s challenging conditions and urged them to continue working toward creating favorable conditions for citizens’ return to Khartoum. Engineer Hani Saad Ibrahim, Director of the General Electricity Distribution Administration in Khartoum State, provided a detailed briefing on sector operations, challenges, and obstacles. He highlighted the administration’s efforts to facilitate voluntary return and noted that electricity supply stability is expected to improve soon with the availability of technical resources. He emphasized that recent achievements were made possible by the dedication and determination of the sector’s workforce.
