Prime Minister Discusses Common Issues between Executive and Judicial Branches with Deputy Chief Justice

Prime Minister Kamil Idris held discussions on Wednesday in Khartoum on a range of issues of mutual interest between the executive and judicial branches of government. This came during his meeting with Deputy Chief Justice Munir Mohammed Al-Hassan, who stated in a press briefing that the meeting reaffirmed the independence of the judiciary and stressed the importance of strengthening coordination and communication between the two branches, in order to serve the interests of citizens and the public good. The Deputy Chief Justice added that the meeting was fruitful and achieved its objectives, serving the national interest.
