Foreign Minister Meets with Belarusian Counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem, met with his Belarusian counterpart, Mr. Maxim Vladimirovich, on the sidelines of his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in a number of areas, particularly the economy, trade and investment, as well as education, culture and technology, with a focus on supporting recovery efforts and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides affirmed their commitment to maintaining diplomatic communication and coordination during the coming period in a manner that contributes to strengthening bilateral relations and paves the way for arranging official visits between the two countries.
