Press Statement
Within its continuous and deliberate targeting of humanitarian facilities, especially hospitals, the Janjaweed terrorist militia yesterday bombed the Omdurman Maternity Hospital (Al-Dayat), a day after it was reopened, in the wake of being liberated from the Militia’s occupation. The latter had looted the Hospital’s equipment and furniture, converting it into a military barracks for a whole year.
The Militia has been targeting functioning hospitals and continued to occupy a large number of them in violation of the international humanitarian law and the “Jeddah Declaration.”
The Militia’s regional sponsors who supply it with long-range artillery and drones, that it uses to bomb residential areas, villages and hospitals, bear responsibility for these crimes against humanity. We call on the United Nations, its specialized agencies, and the entire international community to condemn these terrorist acts and the systematic targeting of defenseless civilians and humanitarian institutions.

Press Statement
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement yesterday on the humanitarian situation in Sudan, advocating violating Sudan’s sovereignty in the name of bringing in humanitarian aid. The statement also refers to “restrictions imposed by the Sudanese Armed Forces on the delivery of humanitarian aid”.
The statement is nothing more than a desperate attempt to evade Abu Dhabi's responsibility for the war waged by the RSF terrorist militia, its proxy, against the Sudanese people,
planned, armed and financed by UAE . This is why leading international newspapers and peer-reviewed publications characterize it as “the UAE’s war in Sudan.” The starvation strategy that the Militia is deliberately carrying out is an aspect of this war. Hence if the UAE is genuinely concerned about the safety and welfare of Sudanese people, it is only required to stop supplying the Militia with lethal weapons to kill the Sudanese people, preventing them from producing their own food, and obstructing delivery of aid to them. Peace then will prevail and human suffering will cease.
The question is, does the UAE’s welcoming of the UN Security Council’s role mean agreeing that the Council examines Sudan’s documented complaint against it for its role in the war and the crimes of ethnic cleansing and starvation in Sudan? And just as the UAE announced the amount it donated to the UN agencies as humanitarian aid to Sudan, will it reveal the billions of dollars it spent, from the brotherly Emirati people’s resources, in the war against the Sudanese people?

Sudanese Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Bushra, denied the existence of famine in Sudan, revealing the cultivated areas and grains in the country, particularly corn and millet. He explained that the report referred to by some United Nations agencies lacks some information and statistics, particularly since it did not include all the states of Sudan due to the war.
The Federal Ministries of Health and Agriculture announced an agreement to facilitate and accelerate procedures, registration and proactive arrangements for sending pesticide papers from the concerned countries and following up on them until the process of clearing them is completed faster and ensuring their safety, particularly pesticides used to combat autumn epidemics, pointing to the importance of making the necessary arrangements to combat the density of mosquito and fly breeding.
The joint meeting of the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, with the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Bishri, concluded in his office in quarantine, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Medicines and Poisons Council, Dr. Ali Babiker, and Dr. Nu’ha Saleh, Director of Nutrition, spoke about the food situation in Sudan, in addition to pesticide imports and the procedures they took to combat disease vectors, to the need to hold a joint press conference to clarify the facts and detailed information and the importance of delivering health, food and nutrition services to citizens besieged in those areas. He stressed the need to lift the siege imposed on citizens by the Rapid Support RSF Militia, and open some crossings, such as Tina, South Sudan and airports, to deliver all food needs and allow health and food convoys in all areas under their control. And to ensure the continuation of the work of the Ministry of Health, in partnership with organizations, in treating cases of mild and severe malnutrition in hospitals and nutrition centers, in addition to activating health awareness and education programs and breastfeeding.
The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, said that the meeting discussed the food situation in Sudan, from the perspective of the Ministries of Health and Agriculture.

Press Statement
A press release by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), “Doctors Without Borders” yesterday revealed that the Janjaweed militia has been holding the organization's supply trucks containing medicines and therapeutic food supplies destined to El Fasher and Zamzam camp, at Kabkabia town, for 4 weeks now. MSF’s statement, in essance, explains that the Militia is the culprit in the spread of hunger in the Zamzam camp as per the findings of the Famine Review Committee, published on the same day. This said heinous act is a part of the starvation strategy the Militia is carrying out.
Attributing food insecurity to not using a particular border crossing is therefore unfounded. Worse still and in flagrant defiance of the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2736 (2024), June 13, the Militia is continuing its siege of the city of El Fasher, escalating bombing of hospitals, IDPs camps, markets, mosques and public facilities in the city. In the light of the above, a firm international stance towards the Militia and its sponsors is imperative, in order to deter them from pursuing to commit atrocities and flouting international legitimacy.
